Hi, I’m Mara.
Here for the feeling.
It started with a borrowed camera and the school yearbook. In this imagined story, nine years of photographing weddings later, I’m still drawn to the same thing: people forgetting the camera is there.
I’m based in Oakville, with a soft spot for lakeside walks, a good coffee, and the beautiful unpredictability of family life. I shoot digital and film, give a little gentle direction, and leave plenty of room for you to be you.

How far ahead should we book?
For weddings, 9–12 months ahead is a lovely place to start, especially for summer Saturdays. For families, a few weeks is usually enough. You’re always welcome to ask about a last-minute date.
Do you travel?
Absolutely. Oakville is home, and travel within 40 km is included. For celebrations farther afield, we’ll agree on any travel costs before you book.
When do we get our photos?
Your fully edited wedding gallery arrives within 3 weeks. Family and mini-session galleries usually arrive within 2 weeks, ready to download, share, and print.
What if it rains on our family session?
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast together. If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll move your session to another available date at no extra charge. A little flexibility makes room for better light.
